A basic first aid training program was conducted for the safety and security staff of Alia Construction on 5 November 2016.
The main objective of the training program was to teach participants the skills necessary to recognize and provide first aid care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. The training included few prime modules and limited time for practice comprising basic idea of transportation of casualty, first aid for medical and miscellaneous conditions, CPR for adults, management of blood loss, electric shock, burns and fractures.
On completion, the participants were tested on their ability to deal with life threatening injuries and conditions.
Certificates were awarded to successful participants.
